National Geographic to promote Yeosu Expo
The organizing committee for Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea has joined with the National Geographic Channel in a deal to promote the international event, which hopes to draw more than 8 million visitors from around the world.

World's Fair, a last gasp for America
Next month - April 24 to be exact - will mark the 45th anniversary of the 1964-65 New York World's Fair. The date will probably pass without fanfare, but I bring it up only because I recently stumbled upon a tattered artifact from the fair, the official 312-page guide, which originally sold for $1.
It made me think about where we are and where we've been as a country

Italy using Milan 2015 to stimulate the economy
Italy's government has allocated €17.8 billion ($22.53 billion) to public building projects as part of its efforts to stimulate the country's ailing economy.
The funding approved Friday will go into roads, railways, schools and prisons. Other projects include money for Milan's 2015 Expo.

Expo organizers work to ensure US interests will build pavilion
